Vassil Levski Military Union’s training near the Bulgarian-Turkish border!

INFORMATION REGARDING THE SUCCESS RATE OF THE CONDUCTED TRAINING:

Period: 25-26.06.2016
Covered territory - 40 km2
Deployed - 7 squads
Objectives:
- Movement techniques in squad composition;
- Ambush set up;
- Exiting a surrounding;
- Eliminating potential threats;
- Encirclement and destruction of foreign armed formations penetrating Bulgarian territory;
- Theory and tactics of national liberation wars;
- Extreme routes to enhance physical and mental stability;
- Topography - orientation and movement in azimuth;
- Orientation via local objects and points;
- Create and mask an observation post;
- Construction of camp and demonstration of the basic techniques for making shelters;

Achieved results:
The last operational tactical training clearly showed that instead of using the available resources for the protection of the border, the authorities have once again stood against the voluntary border patrols and have tried to limit our actions. The training went perfectly - because groups of older fighters from Shipka Bulgarian National Movement took hidden positions for ambushes and surveillance of the old facilities from ‘Slivarovo’ to ‘Rezovo’. There was another task force composed mainly of young fighters, whose main task was to distract from the actions of the main forces. Immediately after the landing in the landing zone ‘Gramatikovo’ they travelled a great distance, passing all major obstacles, and after setting up for night ambushes, patrols and camp, and the elapse of about 40 km2 through rugged terrain, gorges and scree and rocks, and fulfilled all their tasks, while other the groups were silently retreating from their ambush areas through the forest – on the 26th in the afternoon they successfully returned back to the base camp of ‘Gramatikovo’.
